Built for South African Schools

Bambanani was designed specifically for the challenges learners face in South African schools. Every feature exists to protect students and empower schools to act.

We never ask for your name or email. Your report goes to your school's designated safety staff — not to a database with your name on it.

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Available in English, Afrikaans, isiZulu, and isiXhosa — report in the language you are most comfortable with.

Works on any device — phone, tablet, or computer. No app download required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We never ask for your name or email address. We store a scrambled code instead of your internet address, only to stop spam — it is never shown to your school and is not used to identify you. The only way your identity is revealed is if you choose to provide contact details.

Your report is sent to designated staff at your school. They review it, take action, and update the status. You can track progress using your private code.

Absolutely. If you have witnessed bullying, violence, or any safety concern affecting another learner, you can and should report it.

Unfortunately, we cannot look up reports without the tracking code — this is by design to protect anonymity. Save your code somewhere safe when you receive it.
